Volunteers: thanks a million!

Pharmacy assistants and pharmacists are well-placed to be volunteers themselves, thank volunteers in their community, or enable colleagues to volunteer, says Volunteering Australia project manager Ala Pietranik.

National Volunteer Week (13-19 May) will feature a theme of ‘Thanks a million’ and a campaign that will feature real volunteers, says Ala.

Pharmacy assistants have a major role to play in helping to facilitate the Pharmacy Practice Incentives (PPIs) program contained in the Fifth Community Agreement, says Pharmacy Guild of Australia president, Kos Sclavos.
