Elastoplast says:

Elastoplast has created its first heavy duty fabric plaster that is waterproof, breathable and has a strong adhesion. The Heavy Fabric Waterproof plaster is made possible by the Elastoplast Hi-Dry TEX technology creating a plaster which consists of three main layers:

  •  A strong fabric - which is extra durable, water repellent, dries easily and quickly and is breathable;
  •  A waterproof membrane – which is breathable being 100% waterproof; and
  • A sure-stick adhesive layer – which is extra strong, sweat proof and uses Elastoplast’s Sure-Stick technology.

The lowdown:

I’m a bit of klutz and always bumping and knocking into things which means I’m often hunting around the house for a plaster, but one that will stay on! Nothing can be more annoying than a plaster that won’t stick and do what it’s meant to do. I used this plaster when I burnt my elbow on the stove—something I do often—and this plaster was great as they come in a range of sizes.

And also it didn’t crinkle or come off when I bent my elbow. Plus, it stayed on even in the shower and remained waterproof. It did the trick and the small burn has healed nicely. I’m now as good as new, and ready for the next time I gash myself with a kitchen knife or scald myself on a bubbling, casserole dish!
